Pea soup is a national Russian dish, without which the menu of a real hostess is indispensable. The recipe for pea soup is quite simple, and almost everyone can cook it quickly at home. All you need to do is have the right ingredients and some free time.
It is necessary

- - smoked sausage (200 g),
- - onion (1 piece),
- - carrots (1 piece),

Instructions
Step 1
In the classic pea soup recipe, you need to use dry peas that have been soaked in water for at least 12 hours. But if you need a quick recipe for pea soup, you can use instant peas instead of dry ones (these are now sold in large supermarkets like Auchan). At the same time, the grains retain their useful properties, but the time spent on cooking is significantly reduced.
We put a pot of water on the stove, bring it to a boil, add bay leaves and add peas. Close the lid and reduce the heat to "medium" and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
We clean the potatoes, cut into small pieces, add to the pan. Add a pinch of salt to the soup. Cook for another 10 minutes. Add a pinch of salt to the soup.
Step 3
In the meantime, we are preparing the frying for the pea soup. Peel the onion, chop it finely and fry it in a pan with the carrots. We send the fried vegetables to the pan.
Step 4
We use smoked sausage in our quick pea soup recipe. We cut it into small pieces and send it to the pea soup. Cook for another 10 minutes and remove from heat. The consistency of the soup should be uniform.
Add salt and pepper to taste; before serving, the soup can be decorated with herbs. Separately, we serve croutons, which perfectly complement the taste of pea soup.
