Among the huge number of different methods of making pancakes, recipes using kefir should not be ignored. After all, pancakes prepared in this way turn out to be delicate, ruddy and very tasty.
Ingredients:
- 200 ml of kefir / fermented baked milk / natural drinking yogurt;
- 200 ml of boiling water;
- 2 cups of flour;
- 1/2 tea. spoons of baking soda;
- sugar to taste (but not less than 1 tablespoon, otherwise the pancakes will be bland);
- a little salt;
- 1, 5-2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil (you can use both sunflower and any other odorless);
- 2 eggs;
- 1 glass of warm water.
kefir, eggs and other products that are stored in the refrigerator must be removed from there in advance. All ingredients should be warm, so the dough will be easy to smooth, and the pancakes themselves will taste better.
Cooking custard pancakes on kefir:
1. Beat warm kefir well with a mixer with eggs.
2. After adding warm water, sugar and salt, you need to beat this mixture again.
3. Then sift the flour directly into the container with the dough and stir with a wooden spatula.
4. Pour soda into a mug and pour boiling water over it, stir.
5. Gently and slowly pour water and baking soda into the dough, stirring occasionally.
6. Then add vegetable oil to the dough, mix and leave for a few minutes.
7. After 5-10 minutes, the dough is ready and pancakes can be baked.
8. Pancakes on kefir should be baked in a hot skillet, lightly oiled. Bake each side of the pancake until golden brown.
