To prepare the first course you need to take:

  • 1 liter of water or vegetable broth;
  • 1 pc. carrots and onions;
  • 2 pcs. raw potatoes;
  • 0.75 cups peas;
  • 1 garlic clove;
  • 1 tbsp. l. wheat flour;
  • 1 tbsp. l. odorless sunflower oil;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 1 tsp soda for soaking peas.

The cooking steps are as follows:

  1. Pour water into a deep plate, dilute 1 tsp there. soda. Soak peas in the resulting liquid for 30 minutes. Such manipulation will not only speed up the cooking time of the product, but will save from the discomfort that some people experience after eating peas.
  2. Any vegetable broth is suitable for making the soup. You can, for example, boil a couple of peeled carrots and a washed onion. You do not need to peel it, cook it directly in the husk, this will give the broth a beautiful golden color.
  3. So, the liquid chosen for making the pea soup: water or broth, put it on gas and boil. Throw the soaked peas in a colander, rinse thoroughly with clean water and send them to a saucepan to boil. He must cook alone for at least 20 minutes.
  4. While the peas are boiling, wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. When 20 minutes have passed, send the root vegetable to the pot.
  5. Now you need to prepare the dressing. To do this, heat a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it, put onion, previously peeled and chopped into small cubes, carrots chopped on a grater. Simmer vegetables, covered over low heat, until tender.
  6. While the dressing is being prepared, make flour, it needs to be dried in a pan. This ingredient will make the lean pea soup hearty.
  7. If the potatoes are boiled in a saucepan, then you can add flour there. This should be done slowly, stirring the soup thoroughly so that no lumps form.
  8. Once the flour is in the pot, you can add the dressing. All ingredients must be boiled together for 5 minutes. After that, garlic is added to the soup, chopped in a convenient way, as well as salt and spices to taste. After a couple of minutes, the pea soup can be removed from the heat.

Lean bean salad

Lean Pie Recipe

Soup and salad are good, but you can't leave your family without sweets, indulge your family with lean pastries. To make a delicious and aromatic cake, take the following products:

  • 2 cups of flour;
  • 1 glass of sugar and water;
  • ½ cup vegetable oil;
  • 1 tsp baking powder;
  • 2 tbsp. l. honey;
  • 10 g cinnamon (if you like it);
  • Apple and orange 1 pc. (fruits can be any).

If all the ingredients are available, you can start cooking:

  1. Pour a glass of sugar into a convenient saucepan, add water and honey there. Place the container on low heat and, stirring constantly, wait for a boil.
  2. When the first bubbles appear, pour vegetable oil into a saucepan, boil the mixture again. Then remove from heat and pour into a deep plate.
  3. Gradually add flour to the warm sugar and butter mixture. Take your time, it is important that the flour does not form lumps. Add baking powder and cinnamon to the dough.
  4. Take a baking dish, cover it with baking paper, this is necessary so that the baked goods do not stick.
  5. Spread half of the dough over baking paper. Place the peeled and cut orange slices on top. Distribute the washed, chopped (if desired, peel) apple over them.
  6. Pour the remaining dough over the fruit. Send the pie to bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20-25 minutes. The end result is a delicious and juicy lean pie.
