Pretzels are German baked goods. Traditionally, it is prepared in the form of pretzels. I suggest you bake it in the form of buns. At home, this dish is served as a snack for beer.
It is necessary
- - water - 1, 6 l;
- - baking soda - 3 tablespoons;
- - coarse salt.
- For the test:
- - flour - 500 g;
- - dry yeast - 1 teaspoon;
- - water - 200 ml;
- - vegetable oil - 1, 5 tablespoons;
- - salt - 1 teaspoon;
- - sugar - 2 teaspoons.
Instructions
Step 1
Mix the granulated sugar with dry yeast in a separate deep bowl. Pour the resulting mixture with 2 tablespoons of water. The water must be warm. Stir everything well, then put it in a fairly warm place for less than 15 minutes.
Step 2
Taking a free saucepan, pour wheat flour into it, after passing through a sieve. Add salt and the matched dough there. Stir everything until you have a dough that sticks slightly to your palms. Then add sunflower oil and knead the mass thoroughly. The dough should be soaked in it.
Step 3
Grease a deep-bottomed bowl with vegetable oil and add the prepared dough to it. So it should lie under a clean kitchen towel for 1.5-2 hours. During this time, it will rise.
Step 4
After the time has elapsed, divide the finished dough into equal pieces, the weight of which is approximately 40-50 grams. Roll each into a ball shape. Then use a knife to make small cross-shaped cuts on the pretzels. Leave them as they are in a warm enough place for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 5
Pour water into a suitable sized saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then mix with baking soda. In this boiling liquid, lower the pretzels that have come up alternately for about 20-30 seconds.
Step 6
After placing the parchment on a baking sheet, brush it with a little sunflower oil and place the pretzels on it. Sprinkle coarse salt over all the buns. In this form, send them to bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Remove the ruddy pastries from the oven, let them cool, then serve. The pretzels are ready!
