Poppy seed pretzels are probably familiar to everyone from early childhood. But who would have thought that you can cook them yourself, but this is done very simply.

- Dough:

- - margarine - 10 g;
- - salt - a pinch;
- - water - 36 g;
- - sugar - 2 teaspoons.
- Salt solution for cooking pretzels:
- - water - 500 g;
- - salt - 10 g.
- Dough for the test:
- - yeast - 5 g;
- - water - 84 g;
- - flour - 60 g.
- Sprinkling:
- - poppy - 30 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a dough with flour, yeast and water. Leave it in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.
Step 2
Add the remaining water, sugar, salt, margarine to a bowl of dough. Knead a thick dough. If you have a mixer, knead the dough using a hook whisk.
Step 3
Divide the dough into 40 g pieces. Shape each piece into a rope, and then shape into a pretzel. You will have 8 pretzels. Place them on a greased baking sheet. Leave to stand in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Step 4
Heat water and salt to a boil. Dip the pretzel in salted boiling water and wait for it to float (a few seconds).
Step 5
Remove it with a slotted spoon, then put it on a greased baking sheet, sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake in a hot oven at 230–250 ° C until tender, 15–20 minutes.
