Everyone's favorite delicacy - nougat is easy to prepare at home. The essential ingredients of this dish are sugar, nuts, honey and egg white. Having at hand all the necessary products, accessories and desire, you can easily prepare it in a short time.

It is necessary

    • icing sugar - 400 gr;
    • sugar;
    • honey - 300 gr;
    • peeled hazelnuts -700 gr;
    • creamy chocolate - 300 gr;
    • egg white - 3 pcs;
    • water - 50 gr;
    • saucepan - 2pcs;
    • mixer;
    • the spoon;
    • knife;
    • marble board;
    • gas stove.

Instructions

Step 1

Place honey in a saucepan and cook over low heat. Stir the honey continuously to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Determine complete readiness in one of the following ways: dip a drop of honey in cold water, if it hardens and becomes completely solid, then we can assume that honey for making nougat is completely ready.

Step 2

Pour icing sugar into a small amount of cold water and cook over low heat until the mixture turns brownish. The main thing is not to digest, otherwise the syrup will acquire a pronounced bitter taste and become too viscous.

Step 3

Combine the boiled sugar syrup with honey and mix thoroughly. Place the saucepan with the resulting mass in another larger pan, half filled with hot water and continue cooking, but this time with a steam.

Step 4

Beat the egg whites thoroughly with a mixer until a frothy consistency is formed and slowly pour them into a saucepan with honey and sugar. Put the hazelnuts, previously peeled from the shell and skin, there.

Step 5

The last thing to do is melt the chocolate. Add 50 grams of water and the same amount of sugar to the broken creamy chocolate. Let it melt over low heat until it melts completely. Then combine with all the other ingredients in a saucepan.

Step 6

Cook nougat for no more than 20 minutes. At the end of cooking, the mass must be immediately laid out neatly on a marble board, having previously greased it with vegetable oil. When the nougat has cooled down, cut it into portions with a knife. If desired, the nougat can be sprinkled with grated chocolate or powdered sugar.
