  • Large egg - 2 pcs;
  • Onion-turnip - 1 large onion;
  • Sifted flour - 2 tablespoons;
  • Low-fat sour cream - 2 tablespoons;
  • Salt and pepper;
  • Minced meat (preferably a mixture of beef and chicken) - 500 g;
  • Greens for decorating the cake.

Preparation:

  1. The first step is to prepare the potatoes. This is the most time consuming stage in the preparation of a dish. Wash and peel the potatoes. Wash the peeled potatoes. Then on a grater with the finest nozzle, rub the peeled potatoes. At this point, it's great to use a food processor that chops the potatoes on its own. If possible, then this stage will be simple.
  2. After the potatoes are chopped, you need to add eggs and sifted flour to it.
  3. Peel and finely chop the onions. Pour the chopped onion into the potato mixture, leaving half of the slices for the minced meat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. You can add other familiar spices.
  4. Now you need to prepare the minced meat. Pour it into a bowl. Add the second half of the chopped onion to the minced meat. Season the minced meat with pepper and salt, your favorite spices. Optionally add a few cloves of garlic, which must be passed through a garlic press.
  5. Then you need to collect the casserole. To do this, put a layer of potato mixture, prepared minced meat on it in a greased (butter or sunflower) mold, and cover everything with another layer of potatoes on top.
  6. Place the casserole in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. The oven temperature should be around 200-250 degrees. After that, you need to get the casserole and gently turn the casserole with a spatula. Bake for another half hour.
  7. Remove the cooked casserole from the oven and garnish with chopped dill, parsley and other herbs. Serve this potato casserole hot.
