The primitive instincts of a hunter and a fisherman firmly live in the soul of every person. Many have made hunting and fishing their hobby. And those who do not rest in this way prefer to satisfy their instincts, feasting on quails and partridges on a spit or rich fish soup or fish soup. The latter, by the way, is prepared quickly and easily, without requiring any unnecessary efforts.
It is necessary
-
- Serves 4:
- Water - 2.5 l
- Salmon fillet (or salmon soup set) - 400 g.
- Potatoes - 3 pcs.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Bulb onions - 1 pc.
- Rice - 1/3 cup
- Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
- Bay leaf - 1 pc.
- Greens (cilantro
- dill) - 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully divide the fish fillet into small portions, separating bones if they come across. Put them in a pot of cold water and put them on fire. If you are using a salmon soup set (and this is the head, tail and fins), then rinse everything under running water, tie it in cheesecloth and put it in water. You can, of course, not use gauze, but for this you will have to thoroughly clean all parts of the salmon from the scales. And this will increase the time costs and is quite laborious. Bring to a boil.
Step 2
Add rice to boiling broth. You can use regular or steamed - whichever you prefer: soft and boiled cereals or dense grains of rice. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes or strips. Place in a saucepan. Cover and reduce heat slightly.
Step 4
Finely chop the peeled onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, put on fire and add chopped vegetables. Saute over moderate heat until light golden brown. When the vegetables are ready, add them to boiling water with potatoes and cereals.
Step 5
Bring the soup to a boil, let it simmer for 5 minutes and now, when all the ingredients are boiled, add salt. After that, throw in the bay leaf, and 5 minutes before the fish soup is ready, add finely chopped greens. Heat over low heat. Serve with black bread croutons and fresh herbs.
