  • - 3 grams of salt,
  • - 225 ml of water,
  • - 40 grams of vegetable oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour water into a saucepan and put on fire. After the water boils, remove the saucepan from the heat and add salt, stir, the salt crystals should completely dissolve. Let the salt water sit for five minutes.

Step 2

Sift the flour twice. Pour flour in a heap into a large bowl. Make a small depression in which pour 40 grams of vegetable oil and salt water, knead the dough. Knead the dough with a mixer for about 7 minutes. Next, knead with your hands for three minutes.

Step 3

Form a ball from the finished dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and leave at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each part into a thin layer, from which form a circle.

Step 5

Heat a dry skillet and fry the circles of dough on both sides. You do not need to add oil during frying. Since the dough is thin, it roasts quickly, so it is better not to leave the stove.

Step 6

Sprinkle the fried pita bread circles with clean water from a spray bottle and cover with a towel. If not covered, the pita will dry out quickly and become brittle. Serve as a stand-alone dish or make rolls.
