Increasingly, raspberries are simply frozen - they sort out the berries, wash them, put them in plastic containers or special vacuum bags and put them in the freezer. To prevent raspberries from souring, sprinkle with sugar.

If you want to make raspberry jam, then it is better to make it "five minutes". To do this, the berries are sorted out, putting the largest ones in a separate container, without any flaws. The rest are grinded through a sieve, crushed with a pestle or grinded with a blender, after which they are laid out in a saucepan and placed on the stove, on slow heating. When the mass becomes hot, sugar is gradually added to it, which is taken as much as raspberries. As soon as the jam starts to boil, the deferred berries are put into it, brought to a boil again and after 5 minutes removed from the heat.

The saucepan with the jam is covered with gauze and cooled, after which it is laid out in sterile jars and covered with plastic lids.

Raspberry jam will not lose at all if other berries are present in it, for example, black or red currants, strawberries or strawberries. Assorted berries have also proven themselves, which, by the way, is not necessary to cook: knead 1 kg of different berries, add 1.5 kg of sugar and mix well. Raspberries with sugar or a mixture of berries are stored only in the refrigerator.

Raspberries are good for the winter and dried. It is brewed into tea, decoctions, tinctures are made and simply eaten like candy.

Made from raspberries and drinks. The juice from this berry is aromatic and very tasty. To prepare it, the raspberries are passed through a juicer or meat grinder, the mass is squeezed out, and the resulting juice is filtered through cheesecloth or cotton wool. Then it is heated to 85 degrees and poured into sterile jars. If juice of other berries is added to raspberry juice, then the drink is canned with sugar, which is taken 300 g per 1 liter.

Homemade raspberry preparations are not only tasty and healthy. Due to their ruby hue, they are indispensable in the preparation of desserts. They set off soufflés and mousses, color cake cream and add to pies as a filling.
