It is necessary

    • 600 g potatoes;
    • ¾ l vegetable broth;
    • celery greens;
    • salt
    • pepper;
    • green onions;
    • 10 g butter;
    • 100 g of crab meat;
    • 50 g shrimp;
    • 100 g sour cream.

Instructions

Step 1

Not all potatoes are suitable for mashed potato soup. It is best to opt for soft-boiled varieties that will give the finished dish the necessary creamy consistency. Shrimp and crab meat in this recipe can be used interchangeably, and it is better to take small shrimps. Large ones will have to be cut into small pieces. It will be delicious, but from this the dish will lose a little in visual appeal.

Step 2

From the given amount of food, you can make 6 servings of soup served as an appetizer, or 3 servings if the soup will be the main course of your lunch.

Step 3

Peel the potatoes, rinse them with cold water, cut into small cubes, put in a saucepan, cover with vegetable broth. Next, you need some celery greens. If you don't have it, but you have tuberous celery, you can also add it in a small piece. Dip the celery into the broth with potatoes, bring the contents of the pan to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender.

Step 4

Remove the green celery from the soup, but you can leave the root pieces, they will not interfere. Use a blender to grind the ingredients to a liquid puree. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Dissolve 10 g of butter in a frying pan, peel the onion, cut it into small cubes and fry until light golden brown. Season the soup with the resulting fry. If you like sour cream, add that too, just do not forget to beat the soup thoroughly with a whisk after that, so that sour cream lumps do not meet in it.

Step 6

Place crab meat and shrimp in each plate just before serving. Sprinkle thin green onion rings over the soup.
