The microwave oven is used not only for heating and defrosting food. You can cook a whole meal in it, from soup to dessert. Follow some microwave cooking rules and enjoy the speed of the process and delicious dishes.
It is necessary
- Cheese soup:
- - 2 potatoes;
- - 1 carrot;
- - 100 g of celery root;
- - 2 glasses of chicken broth;
- - salt;
- - freshly ground black pepper;
- - a bunch of parsley.
- Chicken curry with couscous and vegetables:
- - 400 g chicken fillet;
- - 200 g of a mixture of broccoli and cauliflower;
- - 5 tbsp. spoons of couscous;
- - curry mixture;
- - salt.
- Chocolate muffins:
- - 100 g of dark or milk chocolate;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar;
- - a pinch of vanillin;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
- - 0.25 glasses of milk;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of flour.
Instructions
Step 1
A simple and healthy dish is soup cooked in the microwave. Peel potatoes, celery and carrots, finely chop vegetables and place in a microwaveable pot. Pour the mixture with a glass of water, salt and cover. Microwave for 10 minutes at maximum power.
Step 2
Grate the cheese and, stirring occasionally, add it to the soup in portions. Pour in the chicken broth and stir the soup thoroughly again. Place the pot in the microwave for 6 minutes. After the end of the cycle, let the soup sit in the oven for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper and chopped parsley before serving.
Step 3
For the second, you can serve a dish of meat, fish or poultry. Try a chicken fillet with an intricate side dish of couscous and vegetables. Rinse the chicken and cut into portions that are not too thick. Pat each dry with a paper towel, season with salt and curry powder on both sides. Make several punctures on the meat with a knife. Place the chicken fillet on a flat plate, cover with a plastic lid and microwave for 7 minutes.
Step 4
A properly cooked fillet should be juicy and not dry. If reddish juice flows out of the meat when pressed, put it in the microwave for another minute. Heat the finished fillet and prepare the side dish.
Step 5
Pour the couscous into a plastic pot or ceramic bowl and cover the cereal with hot water. Season with salt to taste, stir and place in the microwave at full power for 2 minutes. Place frozen cauliflower and broccoli mixture on a flat plate and microwave for 2 minutes. Remove the platter, add salt to the vegetables, turn them over and bake for another 2 minutes.
Step 6
Collect the dish. Place the fillets on portioned plates, add a couple of tablespoons of couscous and a heap of vegetables. Separately, you can serve tomato or sour cream sauce with herbs and garlic.
Step 7
Serve cups of chocolate muffins for dessert. Put dark or milk chocolate, broken into pieces, in a bowl, add milk and butter. Microwave the bowl for 1 minute. Beat the egg with sugar and vanilla. Add egg mixture to chocolate, add flour and stir. Divide the resulting mass into glass glasses or mugs and put in the oven for 2-3 minutes. After baking, leave the muffins in the microwave for a couple more minutes. Serve dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
