Chicken can be boiled, fried, baked in the oven, and even cooked in the microwave. The latter method makes it possible to get a tasty and healthy dish without unnecessary time spending. In the microwave, you can cook a whole carcass, fillets or legs, complementing them with the appropriate side dish.

- Chicken fillet with curry:
- - 300 g chicken fillet;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of curry;
- - salt.
- Chicken with tomatoes and parmesan:
- - 600 g chicken fillet;
- - 1 egg;
- - 200 g of tomatoes;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 teaspoon of a mixture of dried herbs;
- - 0.4 cups of grated Parmesan;
- - 0.5 tsp dried parsley;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of bread crumbs;
- - fresh parsley.
- Chicken legs with buckwheat porridge:
- - 400 g of chicken legs;
- - salt;
- - freshly ground black pepper;
- - 1 glass of buckwheat.

Step 1
Chicken fillet with curry
This dish will diversify your diet. It contains almost no fat, and properly cooked poultry is very juicy. Rinse the chicken fillet, dry it, cut it in half lengthwise. Remove grease and films. Pour curry powder into a bowl. Season the chicken with salt, curry and place in a microwave-safe dish. Puncture the fillet several times with a fork. Cover the dish and roast the chicken for 8 minutes at maximum power. Serve with steamed cauliflower or pasta with cream sauce.
Step 2
Chicken with tomatoes and parmesan
You can also cook more complex meals in the microwave. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin, chop the pulp. Pass the garlic through a press. Place the tomatoes and garlic in a bowl, add dried oregano, rosemary, basil, thyme. Mix everything and simmer in the microwave at maximum power for 1-2 minutes. Stir and cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 3
Grate Parmesan, mix with bread crumbs and dried parsley. Beat the egg lightly. Wash the chicken fillet, dry, beat slightly. If the pieces are too large, cut them in half. Dip the fillets in the egg and then roll in the breadcrumbs. Place the prepared chicken on a plate and place in the microwave at maximum power. Roast the fillets for 5 minutes, then turn and cook for another 5 minutes. Pour the tomato sauce over the chicken and bake for another 3-5 minutes. Serve garnished with parsley. French fries or mashed vegetables are suitable as a side dish.

Chicken legs with buckwheat porridge
This simple and hearty dish can be prepared in just half an hour. Start with porridge. Rinse the cereal, place it in a plastic or glass microwave-safe pot. Pour in the water so that it covers the cereal by 2 cm. Add salt and place the pot in the microwave. Cook the porridge for 12 minutes at maximum power. Remove the pot from the oven and cover.
Step 5
Rinse chicken legs, remove excess fat and skin. Rub the chicken with salt and pepper, place on a microwave oven rack, and place a plate underneath to collect the fat. To create a golden brown crust on the poultry, use the combined grill plus microwaves setting. Roast the legs for 8 minutes, then turn them over and cook for the same amount. Test the doneness by piercing the meat with a fork. The juice flowing out of the chicken should be clear. Pour a couple of tablespoons of fat melted from chicken into buckwheat porridge, mix well. Place the legs on plates, add a portion of buckwheat and serve, sprinkled with herbs.
