After a hard day at work, not every woman will find the strength to cook a complicated dinner. However, if desired, the family can be fed with delicious dishes, spending a minimum of time.
It is best to start your meal with a light snack. Make a simple and delicious warm carrot salad. Peel 2 large carrots, cut them into thin slices and fry in a pan with heated vegetable oil for 7-9 minutes. Meanwhile, chop 3-4 tomatoes into cubes, cut 150 g of pitted olives into rings. Place the tomatoes and olives in a salad bowl. Grate 150 g of smoked cheese on a coarse grater. Pour the grated cheese into the pan where the carrots are to be fried and mix thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper. Put it in a salad bowl with tomatoes and olives, stir. Serve immediately before the cheese is frozen. Fresh Armenian lavash is the best for this salad.
Make your main course. To save time, microwave it. Take a salmon steak, rinse in cold water, pat dry. Season the fish with salt and pepper, then drizzle with a little lemon juice. Cook in the microwave on maximum power for 6-10 minutes, depending on the weight of the steak. If you prefer chicken, remove any veins and excess fat from the fillet. Sprinkle the meat with your favorite spices - curry powder or a mixture of Provencal herbs. Microwave until tender.
For a side dish, boil rice in salted water, and add a little butter to it when serving. Chopped frozen vegetable mixes can also be a quick side dish. Cook in a double boiler or skillet with a little vegetable oil. Don't forget to add salt.
Serve a fruit salad for dessert. Peel the oranges from the peel and films, remove the seeds from the grapes. You can also put peeled and sliced kiwi, apples, peaches in the salad. If you don't have fresh fruit at your disposal, use canned ones. Serve the salad in portioned bowls, garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with peeled pine nuts.
