- 2 medium pickled cucumbers and pickle;

- meat (beef or pork);

- salt pepper.

Take a small saucepan, pour water into it, add pearl barley, salt to taste and put on fire. The pearl barley should cook for about 40 minutes. Fill another saucepan with water, salt and cook in it the meat, previously cut into cubes, the size of which will be about two centimeters.

Wash and peel the rest of the vegetables, cut the potatoes into small cubes, add them to the pot of meat. Put finely chopped cucumbers there.

Take a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it, in which you will fry onions and carrots. As soon as the roast for your pickle is ready, add it to a saucepan with meat, potatoes and cucumbers, put the cooked barley there, pour in a little cucumber pickle and bring to readiness.

You can use regular fried potatoes as a second course. Take 10 medium-sized potatoes, cut them into small cubes and place in a skillet with hot oil, fry a little. Add onion, 1 fresh tomato, salt to taste and pepper to the same pan. Bring the dish to readiness, stirring occasionally.

Dessert for lunch

For dessert, you can serve any homemade cakes. The simplest dish is pancakes. Combine three eggs, salt, sugar, milk and flour in a deep bowl. The ingredients are best added by eye, but you should end up with a smooth, thick dough. Bake the pancakes in a skillet with hot vegetable oil. You can serve the finished dish with sour cream, jam, honey, condensed milk or butter.
