It is necessary

  • For baskets:
  • - 200 g flour;
  • - 100 g of butter;
  • - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of ice water;
  • - a pinch of salt.
  • For the salad:
  • - 300 g of boiled meat (beef);
  • - 2 carrots;
  • - 2 apples are not sweet;
  • - a bunch of fresh herbs to choose from;
  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of chopped pistachios or other nuts;
  • - 4 teaspoons of sour cream;
  • - 4 teaspoons of mustard.

Instructions

Step 1

Chop chilled diced butter with flour, salt and grind into coarse crumbs. Pour in ice water, quickly knead the dough - this is convenient to do in a food processor, but you can knead the dough with your hands.

Step 2

Wrap the finished dough in foil, put it in the refrigerator for half an hour, then roll it thinly into a layer of about 0.3 mm, put it in molds, pressing the dough to the walls and cutting off the excess - you should get baskets of dough. Fold the molds with the dough on top of each other in a stack of 3-5 pieces, place an empty mold on top and press this "construction".

Step 3

Bake shortcrust pastry baskets for 15 minutes at 180 degrees (the oven must be preheated). Then take apart the stacks of molds and bake until golden brown for 20 minutes, cool.

Step 4

Finely chop fresh herbs and a piece of boiled meat. Grate the apple and carrot on a medium grater. Mix sour cream with mustard. Mix everything together and you get a meat salad.

Step 5

Arrange the salad in baskets, decorate each basket with chopped nuts, sprigs of herbs or something to your liking. If you decide to serve meat salad simply in a salad bowl without preparing baskets, then the vegetables should be grated on a coarse grater, and the meat should be disassembled into fibers.
