It often happens that pork turns out to be dryish. You will not face this problem if you stew meat with an apple and onion sauce. The pork will turn out fragrant and very soft, with an unusual taste.
It is necessary
- For six servings:
- - 1 kg of lean pork;
- - 200 ml of white or rose wine;
- - 2 apples;
- - 1 onion;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - salt, pepper, vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse a whole piece of pork, rub it with salt and pepper. You can use other spices to your liking.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a thick non-stick saucepan, place the peeled garlic cloves in it, fry, then pull them out - the garlic was only needed to give the oil a garlic flavor.
Step 3
Put a piece of meat in a saucepan, fry it over high heat on all sides until golden brown. Transfer to a plate while handling the rest of this dish.
Step 4
Fry chopped onions in pork oil until golden brown. Rinse the apples, peel, cut into cubes or strips and add to the onion, pour in white or rosé wine, mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Return the piece of pork to the saucepan, cover it, simmer over low heat for about 1 hour, occasionally turning the meat over. If the sauce thickens too much, add some plain water.
Step 6
After cooking, let the pork cool slightly, cut it into thin slices across the grain. Place on a plate and top with applesauce. Can be served as a stand-alone dish or with a light vegetable side dish.
