Pork stewed in beer is a delicious and delicate dish with a subtle aroma of dark beer, spices and an original sauce. Very easy to prepare and perfect for any table!
It is necessary
- - 500 g of pork pulp;
- - 1 glass of dark beer;
- - 1 medium onion;
- - a couple of garlic cloves;
- - 20 g butter;
- - ground coriander;
- - Bay leaf;
- - a slice of black bread;
- - salt pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the meat first. Wash, remove films and excess fat, cut into medium cubes. Place the sliced meat in a heavy-bottomed dish.
Step 2
Add spices, salt, chopped garlic, coriander to the meat and pour in the beer. Put on high heat and bring to a boil. After everything boils, remove the foam, reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Make sure that the beer boils down a little, but does not completely boil over. During the brewing process, all alcohol from the beer will go away and only the pleasant and tart taste of hops will remain.
Step 3
While the meat is stewing, separately fry the finely chopped onions in butter until golden brown.
Step 4
Dry a slice of black bread in the oven and grate it. Season the pork with these crumbs for a light rye flavor that enhances the aroma and flavor of the dark beer. Then add the fried onions and simmer for a couple of minutes.
Remove the meat from the heat and let it brew a little under the lid. It is recommended to serve with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut or fried potatoes, pouring the resulting sauce over the meat.
