Dumplings are one of the most popular meat dishes. They are not only very tasty, but also extremely satisfying, which is why they are so loved by many people. The filling is usually finely chopped meat or minced meat, and often several types of meat are used at once - for a richer taste. And for those who do not like heavy food, minced chicken dumplings are ideal.

Dumplings stuffed with minced chicken is an excellent way to prepare a delicious and satisfying dish. The recipe for creating such dumplings is quite simple, and the most important thing in it is to make the minced meat correctly. It should be juicy and tender.

You can buy ready-made minced meat in a store, but you need to watch it to be of high quality. Or you can cook it yourself. To do this, mince the chicken fillet and onion (or chop the onion in a blender, and then add the meat passed through the meat grinder), salt, add pepper, favorite spices and mix thoroughly.

Cooking recipe

Ingredients: 800 grams of minced chicken, 2 cups of warm boiled water, 8 cups of flour, 2 eggs, 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, a bunch of parsley, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sour cream, 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, ketchup or mayonnaise, you can sauce.

This recipe is for 8 servings.

In a large, deep bowl, combine water, eggs and sour cream. Add salt. Mix everything thoroughly. Add 4 cups of flour to the resulting mixture and mix everything again until smooth. Then add 4 more cups of flour in turn, continuing to mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps.

The result should be a completely homogeneous soft and elastic dough that does not stick to the sides of the bowl. If it does stick, then you need to add a little more flour. The dough should be covered with a towel and left in a warm, dark place for 30 minutes.

Next, the filling for the dumplings is prepared.

Pour some vegetable oil into the pan, heat it up. Then add chopped onion and fry it over medium heat until golden brown. Add chopped garlic there. Saute for another minute, then remove the pan from heat.

Now you need to mix well the minced chicken, fried garlic and onion and finely chopped parsley. Add salt, stir again.

Next, the molding of dumplings begins directly.

A piece is cut off from the dough, which is then rolled out on a floured surface with a rolling pin to the state of a thin circle. A little minced meat is superimposed in the center of the circle, then the dough is wrapped, the edges are pinched, and the turn of the new dumplings comes.

When all the dumplings are ready, some can be boiled immediately, and the rest can be put in the freezer.

To cook dumplings, the right amount is put in boiling salted water. The dumplings are cooked for 3 minutes from the moment they float to the surface. Then they must be laid out on a plate, greased with butter and sprinkled with herbs.

Now ready-made dumplings can be served. Optionally, you can add sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup or any other sauce to them.
