Step 1
Minced Meat (Option 1): Rinse the piece of beef in cold water. Free the meat from coarse tendons, films, fat. Chop into small pieces and scroll through a meat grinder.
Step 2
Peel the onion. Pass two onions a second time with meat through a meat grinder. And fry two onions in oil in a preheated pan until transparent and put in the finished minced meat.

Pour the rice into a sieve and sort through it. Remove foreign inclusions. Rinse the rice with warm tap water and then sprinkle it with hot water from the kettle.

Put the saucepan on the fire. Pour boiling water from a kettle into it. The water should be six times the volume of rice. When the water boils, add salt and rice. Boil it until tender and discard in a colander so that it stacks.

Mix the minced meat with boiled rice. Season with salt and add some pepper as you like. If you are preparing cabbage rolls from fresh cabbage, then add a little lemon juice to the minced meat. When preparing a dish from sauerkraut, additional acidification is not required.
