Beets are a very useful vegetable for the human body. Thanks to its properties, it turns any dish into an easily digestible and very nutritious one. I propose to please yourself with a dish that is not very difficult to prepare and has a small amount of calories.
It is necessary
- - 3 large beets;
- - 5 horseradish roots;
- - 4 lettuce leaves;
- - 3 tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 1 tablespoon of cucumber pickle;
- - 1 teaspoon of sugar;
- - 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Instructions
Step 1
The horseradish roots are thoroughly washed under running water, cleaned and rubbed on a coarse grater.
Step 2
Sugar, salt, olive oil and half of lemon juice are added to the resulting mass. All ingredients are mixed gently.
Step 3
Wash the beets, boil until tender, then cool to room temperature and peel them. Very carefully cut off the upper part of the beets and make a depression in the remaining part with a spoon.
Step 4
The resulting grooves are filled with a mixture of horseradish and spices and lightly sprinkled with prepared cucumber brine.
Step 5
Lettuce leaves are thoroughly washed in water, sprinkled with lemon juice and carefully laid out on a flat plate.
Step 6
Beets stuffed with horseradish are spread on lettuce leaves and put in the refrigerator for twenty-five minutes. When serving, you can decorate the dish with walnuts.
