Chinese varieties are attracted rather by the fact that they are not very spicy. Moreover, the "Red Heart" radish belongs to sweet varieties. This is a new variety, but already loved by many.

"Red Heart" is one of the Chinese varieties that are united under the common name "Lobo". This also includes "Chinese delicacy" and "Fireball". But if the latter is distinguished by a bright red shell, while the inside of the flesh is absolutely snow-white, then the "Red Heart", on the contrary, has a pink flesh with a gray-green appearance.

Some Russian gardeners, who are lovers of exotic crops, have paid attention to this variety only for this reason. However, they later tasted it. A root vegetable with a juicy, tender pulp, practically without bitterness, it is remarkably stored all winter. The size is also quite impressive. Although unknowingly, it is sometimes mistaken for a type of radish. But this is a delusion.

The more delicate taste of red radish is due to the lower content of mustard oil. It is inferior in phytoncides to black, but otherwise no less useful. The entire list of vitamins, micro- and macroelements is present in this variety. And the decrease in bitterness and not such coarse fibers allow it to be consumed even by people with gastrointestinal and cardiovascular diseases.

In terms of calorie content, "Red Heart" is more suitable for dietary nutrition than other varieties. If in 100 grams of black there are 35 kcal, then in red there are only 20. The only serious contraindication is pregnancy. The essential oils of this vegetable are able to tone the uterus. It is valuable that the red root vegetable perfectly cleanses the body, removes toxins and toxins, and helps with anemia.
