A roll with potatoes and minced chicken is a full breakfast or lunch that will please both adults and children. It is very easy to prepare and bake.
Ingredients for the potato layer:
- 1 kg of potatoes;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 20 g butter;
- 3 allspice;
- salt.
Ingredients for minced meat:
- 0.5 kg of minced chicken;
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- green onions;
- onion.
Additional ingredients:
- 2 rectangular pita bread;
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of fat sour cream;
- sesame seeds for dusting.
Preparation:
- Peel the potatoes, boil until tender, add a little salt, mash, season with butter and cool.
- Wash the onion, peel and cut into medium cubes.
- Put the minced meat in a bowl, mash with a fork. Add chopped onion and soy sauce to it, mix thoroughly. If desired, the minced meat can be tasted for salt and, if necessary, add salt.
- In a bowl, combine and mix sour cream with soy sauce.
- Spread one pita bread on the table. Spread half of the pita bread with sour cream and soy mass using a silicone brush. You need to work with pita bread carefully and quickly, otherwise it will get wet and tear.
- Apply mashed potatoes to the greased part and smooth it, leaving free edges on all sides of the pita bread. Apply a layer of minced meat on top of the puree and smooth it too.
- Roll up quickly, starting with the filling.
- Spread the top of the formed roll with sour cream and soy mass.
- Wrap the greased potato roll in another pita bread, put on edible paper and on a baking sheet, grease again and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Place the contents of the baking sheet in the oven and brown for 10 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
- After this time, reduce the temperature in the oven to 150 degrees, continuing to bake the roll for another 20-30 minutes. During this time, the minced meat inside the roll should be cooked. Baking times are approximate, as each oven has its own characteristics that must be taken into account.
- After half an hour, remove the roll from the oven, grease a little with water, cover with a towel and leave to stand for 5 minutes.
- The crust on the hot roll will be crispy, and on the cold roll it will be soft. Therefore, you need to cut a hot roll with a knife with cloves, and a cold one with an ordinary knife.
