Kombucha is very clean, so the three-liter glass jar prepared for it should be thoroughly washed. Otherwise, the mushroom will hurt. Put 5 tablespoons of large-leaf tea in a teapot for brewing, pour boiling water over the tea and wait until the infusion cools down. Then we add 7 tablespoons of sugar to the kettle, mix everything and pour the infusion through a gauze cloth into a three-liter jar. The jar is closed with gauze and placed in a warm place. The process of making kombucha will take about a month and a half. After a week, the surface of the liquid will be covered with a thin film. This will be the kombucha. The film will grow constantly. When it becomes a thick mushroom, the jar is filled to the brim with water, and in a day the drink is ready.

Kombucha can be made from rose hips. So it will not only remove thirst, but will also be beneficial to health. There are many useful substances in such a drink that will help to avoid getting sick during the cold season. This type of kombucha is prepared exactly as described above, but for this type of drink, you must first prepare the rosehip infusion. To do this, you need 4 tablespoons of dried or fresh fruits, pour half a liter of boiling water and let it brew for 5 days. In this case, the aged tea infusion is mixed with the aged rosehip infusion and placed in a warm place. A full-fledged mushroom will appear in the bank in one and a half to two months.

Kombucha should be looked after, otherwise it will turn sour. This is a capricious culture. By the way, you can easily determine the health of a kombucha by its location in the jar. If the mushroom is at the top, it is healthy, and the diseased mushroom goes down. Once a month, at least, the mushroom must be removed from the jar and rinsed thoroughly. The jar itself should be washed, and the liquid in it should be filtered through cheesecloth. Only if this condition is met, you will always have a healthy and tasty kombucha on your table.
