Unusual and tasty, bright green soup is very healthy. It seems that peas with mint are completely incompatible products, but in this soup they create an amazing harmonious taste.

It is necessary

  • - 500 grams of frozen green peas;
  • - 100 grams of onions;
  • - 200 grams of potatoes;
  • - 1 tbsp. butter;
  • - 200 grams of cream;
  • - 2 sprigs of fresh mint;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the onion, wash and chop finely.

Step 2

Peel potatoes and cut into small pieces.

Step 3

Separate the mint leaves from the stems, chop them finely.

Step 4

Place the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and melt.

Step 5

Add the onion and fry until soft, about 5 minutes.

Step 6

Pour in 500 ml of water, bring to a boil, salt. Add potatoes, cook until soft, for 10-15 minutes.

Step 7

Add green peas to the boiling soup (it does not need pre-soaking).

Step 8

Add mint.

Step 9

Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes from now.

Step 10

Pour the soup into a blender, beat thoroughly until a pleasant creamy texture is obtained.

Step 11

Pour the soup back into the pot, pour in the cream. 2 tbsp leave for decoration.

Step 12

Mix everything, heat, but do not boil.

Step 13

Pour warm soup into bowls, top with cream, garnish with a sprig of mint.
