Chicken soup is the right and delicious lunch for the whole family. Serve the soup with sesame crackers.
It is necessary
- - 400 g chicken breast fillet;
- - 5 tbsp. chicken broth;
- - a bunch of dry fragrant herbs;
- - 2 carrots;
- - 2 stalks of celery;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of long white rice;
- - ¾ Art. frozen green peas;
- - a cup of champignons;
- - sprigs of parsley for decoration;
- - salt, pepper - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the carrots and cut into thin slices. Cut celery and mushrooms into slices. Put everything aside. To make a bunch of fragrant herbs, you need to combine bay leaves, sprigs of thyme and parsley, small pieces of carrots and celery and a few peas wrapped in cheesecloth - tie with a thread. After cooking, remove from broth.
Step 2
Put the chicken breasts in a large saucepan, pour in the broth, add a bunch of herbs, carrots and celery. Bring to a boil, stir occasionally.
Step 3
Reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, until chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Step 4
Cook the soup for another 5 minutes, then add rice, mushrooms and peas. Cook over low heat for another 10 minutes, until rice and vegetables are tender.
Step 5
While the vegetables are cooking, cut the chicken into small slices. When the vegetables are ready, add the chicken to the soup and season with pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove the bunch of herbs. Decorate with parsley sprigs and serve.
