Step 1
Any fish is suitable for making soup - both river and sea fish (cod, pink salmon, salmon, pike, etc.). It should be cleaned of scales, gutted, fillets removed, rinsed.

Pour cold water over fish bones, gills, tails and heads. Put to cook on low heat. When the water boils, remove the foam, cook for another 20-25 minutes without a lid.

Cut fish fillet into portioned pieces, onions - in half rings, celery and carrots - in small cubes, potatoes - in large cubes, chop parsley, crush pepper.

Strain the finished fish broth through cheesecloth or a strainer, bring to a boil, put onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, fish, bay leaves and parsley in it. Cook for 5-10 minutes without a lid. If you do not have fresh parsley, you can put 2-3 sprigs of dry parsley stalks in the soup, boil lightly and then remove them from the pan.

Melt butter, pour into fish soup.
Step 6
Hull young green peas. Boil in salted water until tender - it will take about 10 minutes. For fish soup, you can also use canned green peas along with liquid from a jar.
Step 7
Add green peas to the fish soup, salt and pepper. Cook for another 5-10 minutes.
Step 8
Pour milk into fish soup with green peas, bring to a boil. Milk can be substituted for non-fat cream. Remove the bay leaf from the finished dish.
Step 9
