Cold dishes are an integral part of every table. If suddenly the usual menu is bored, then you can include insanely delicious jellied ham rolls as a variety, which are also served with an equally tasty sauce.

Ingredients:

  • Ham - 350 g;
  • Boiled sausage without lard -100 g;
  • Cheese - 100 g (hard varieties);
  • Red sweet apple - 1 pc.;
  • Pickled plums - 10 pcs;
  • Sour cream - 1 tablespoon;
  • Fresh tomato - 3 pcs;
  • Meat broth - 400 ml;
  • Pertushka, celery, dill - 1 bunch each;
  • Butter - 15 g;
  • Ghee - 10 g;
  • Wheat flour - 2 tablespoons;
  • Horseradish - 1 root;
  • Gelatin ½ tsp;
  • Ground black pepper;
  • Salt (to your liking).

Preparation:

  1. Dissolve all gelatin in cold broth. Set aside until completely swollen.
  2. Cut the ham into thin slices, chop 4 slices of them into strips, they will be useful for the filling.
  3. Wash the tomatoes and red apple thoroughly. Remove the skin and core from the apple, and pour over the tomatoes with boiling water, and then also remove the skin. Cut the pulp of two tomatoes into slices.
  4. Twist hard cheese, 1 tomato, whole plum, apple and chopped ham in a meat grinder.
  5. Season the resulting puree with softened butter, pepper, salt.
  6. Fill each ham plate with a little mashed potatoes, roll into rolls without toothpicks.
  7. Put the finished rolls in a deep container and fill them with jelly almost to the top, then put the washed dried foliage of greenery on the rolls and refill the jelly.
  8. Put the workpiece in the refrigerator for 2 hours until the future dish solidifies completely.
  9. For the sauce, pour the flour into a preheated pan, sauté until a golden-transparent color is formed, then add melted butter there, and after 5 minutes, add the remaining broth.
  10. Chop horseradish root on a fine grater. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and horseradish, simmer over medium heat for another 20 minutes.
  11. If desired, decorate the dish with a sprig of herbs, tomato slices. Serve the rolls with sauce.
