It is necessary

  • - spring, filtered or industrial drinking water - 2 liters;
  • - ginger root - 10-30 g;
  • - medium cucumber - 1 pc.,
  • - fresh peppermint - 2 sprigs;
  • - 2.5 liter jug (the container should fit on the lower shelf of the refrigerator and have a lid) - 1 pc.;
  • - fine grater - 1 pc.

Instructions

Step 1

Use the cleanest water available in your home. The best option is spring water enriched with minerals. Tap water that has been boiled for making a drink is absolutely not suitable. Boiling only kills the bacterial flora from the liquid, but does not cope with the iron and chlorine in any way, which reduces the value of Sassi water to zero.

Step 2

Rinse the ginger and carefully peel the skin off with a sharp knife. It is important to cut out any soft areas of incipient decay. Ginger should be fibrous, moist and firm. Using a fine grater, grate the ginger into the gruel so that you get 1 heaped teaspoon. The most valuable thing in ginger is the juice, which literally begins to flow over the grater. This is a sign of the freshness of the product. When rubbing, use a plastic or ceramic container so that the healing product is not absorbed (for example, into the surface of a wooden cutting board).

Step 3

Wash the lemon, cucumber and mint in very hot water. It is especially important to thoroughly rinse the surface of the cucumber and lemon. To avoid the ingress of unnecessary flora into the water in the form of bacteria on the surface of the peel, the vegetable and citrus can be pre-cleaned. However, it is best to preserve the skin of the lemon, as it enriches the drink as well as the pulp.

Step 4

Cut the cucumber into thin slices. It is important to use a sharp knife for this so that excess juice does not remain on the board - the products should give it to the drink to the maximum. Pour the water into a container and add the sliced cucumber and lemon to the bowl. Tear the mint leaves with your hands and add to the drink along with the stem.

Step 5

Stir the resulting drink with a clean spoon, cover and place on the lower shelf of the refrigerator for 10-12 hours. During this time, under the influence of cold, the products will give the maximum amount of healing juice. Before use, it is better to strain the water through cheesecloth and store it strictly in the refrigerator. It is important to take one 2 liter batch of water throughout the day, preferably before 6 pm.
