Diversify your usual oatmeal with caramelized bananas. And instead of a mug of milk, serve a vitamin cocktail.
It is necessary
- - oatmeal 1, 5 tbsp;
- - apple or vanilla yogurt 250 g;
- - brown sugar 1/4 tbsp;
- - banana 2 pcs;
- - ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp;
- - salt.
- For a cocktail
- - freshly squeezed orange juice 600 ml;
- - dried apricots 15 pcs;
- - natural yogurt 250 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour dried apricots for a cocktail with orange juice and leave for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200C or preheat the top grill well. Cut the bananas into slices.
Step 3
In a saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil, add the oatmeal and 1 tablespoon of sugar, season with salt and cook until the porridge thickens, about 3 minutes. Divide the oatmeal into 4 ovenproof bowls.
Step 4
Place yogurt in each bowl, then banana slices. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Place the bowls on the wire rack under the grill and bake until the sugar melts and bubbles.
Step 5
Transfer dried apricots to a blender bowl with juice, add yogurt and whisk until smooth. Add some honey if desired.
