The main Easter treats are eggs painted in different colors, cottage cheese Easter and, of course, Easter cake. Easter cake is a "festive" type of bread made from yeast dough with the addition of butter, raisins, candied fruits, etc.

It is necessary

  • - 250 ml of milk;
  • - 150 grams of butter;
  • - three eggs;
  • - a glass of sugar;
  • - a teaspoon of salt;
  • - a bag of vanillin;
  • - five glasses of flour;
  • - three teaspoons of dry yeast;
  • - a glass of raisins;
  • - a handful of almonds;
  • - a handful of candied fruits.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour a glass of sifted flour into a small saucepan, add all the yeast to it and stir. Pour in a glass of warm milk, quickly knead the dough (the thickness should not be thicker than medium-fat sour cream), close it with a lid and put it in a warm place for about an hour (during this time the dough should rise and double in volume).

Step 2

While the dough is rising, melt the butter, rinse and dry the raisins, and roll them in a little flour. Whisk eggs with sugar, salt and vanilla. To completely dissolve the sugar, beat better in a water bath and be sure to make sure that the eggs do not curl.

Step 3

Gently mix the risen dough with a spoon, add the cooled melted butter, beaten eggs and a little flour to it, mix. Gradually add the remaining flour, stir and monitor the consistency of the dough, it should be of medium thickness, elastic.

Step 4

Place the resulting lump of dough in the multicooker bowl, preheated to 40 degrees, close the lid and leave for three hours (the dough should rise twice).

Step 5

After a while, take out the dough, add crushed almonds and candied fruits to it and place it back in a preheated multicooker, but for an hour. In total, the dough should rise three times, no less.

Step 6

As soon as the dough rises for the third time, turn on the "bake" mode for 1.5 hours. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer: pierce the cake with it and look at it, if it is dry, the baked goods are ready.

Step 7

Remove the cake from the multicooker bowl, let it cool and cover with icing. For the glaze, take half a glass of sand, half a glass of milk and 30 grams of butter, mix everything, put on fire and boil until jelly. Cover the cake with warm icing and allow to solidify completely. If desired, sprinkle the baked goods on top with powdered sugar or special dragees.
