Potatoes are one of the most commonly consumed crops. A huge number of dishes are prepared from it: soups, side dishes, cutlets, pancakes, etc. This vegetable fits perfectly into many salads.
Korean salad with potatoes
This dish is interesting because it contains potatoes. Therefore, Korean salad with potatoes can be called unusual and original. Having prepared it, you will surprise and delight your family and friends.
Salad products:
- 5 potato tubers
- 400 g chicken fillet
- 2 pcs. onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- vegetable oil
- vinegar
- spices for carrots in Korean
- greens

- Wash potato tubers thoroughly. Clear. Grate for Korean carrots. If it is not there, then cut into small strips or pass through a regular grater. Pour water over the potatoes. Let stand for a couple of minutes. Drain the water. Can be rinsed under cold running tap water.
- Pour water into a saucepan and pour in a couple of tablespoons of 9% vinegar. Give it a try. The water should be slightly acidic. Let it boil and throw potatoes into it. Boil for 5 minutes with constant stirring. You should pay attention to the variety of potatoes. If it boils hard and quickly, then it is possible that less time will be enough. After it is cooked, put it in a colander and rinse with running water. It is not required to do this for a long time. You can squeeze out slightly.
- Cut the onion thinly into half rings. Put in a bowl, pour about a glass of water and a teaspoon of vinegar into it.
- Cut the chicken into strips and fry in vegetable oil.
- Take a deep bowl. Fold potatoes, meat, onions into it (squeeze out). Add garlic, passed through a garlic press (you can grate it), Korean-style carrot spices, or your favorites. Salt if necessary. Add chopped greens. Mix. Give it a try. If there is not enough oil, then add.
- Let the salad stand for a while. You can put it in the refrigerator for this time.
Potato salad with sprats
This salad has a long history. He was an indispensable component of the family table during the Soviet Union. Sprats were then a rare commodity in stores, and therefore, salad was considered almost a delicacy.
Ingredient composition:
- 200 g sprat
- 3 potato tubers
- 2 tomatoes
- ground black pepper to taste
- greens to taste
- salt to taste
- Wash the potato tubers thoroughly. Boil in a uniform. Cool and clean. Cut into cubes. Fry the potatoes in vegetable oil. Allow to cool. You can wrinkle it, or you can not. Both options are possible.
- Remove the sprats from the jar and mash. Wash the tomatoes and cut into cubes.
- Combine sprats, potatoes and tomatoes in a salad bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fill with sprat oil. Decorate with herbs if desired.
