It is difficult to imagine our table without pasta. They can be used to make a salad, soup, side dish or casserole. Each housewife has her own favorite recipe for making pasta. Add another great recipe to your cookbook. The combination of pasta and broccoli is easily digestible, so the dish can be recommended for dietary and baby food, and the light aroma of garlic and cheese-milk sauce add spice to the dish.
It is necessary
-
- Durum flour pasta - 400 g
- Broccoli (fresh or frozen) - 400 g.
- Hard cheese - 200 g
- Milk - 200 g
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 50 g
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt
- spices to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Disassemble the broccoli into florets. Cut off too long petioles. Dip in boiling salted water and cook for 3-5 minutes. If you are using frozen broccoli, you can dip it in cold water and cook after boiling for 2-3 minutes. Drain the water. Set aside.
Step 2
Boil the pasta in salted water for 10-15 minutes. For this dish, it is preferable to use large pasta such as fusilli, penne, rigatone or farfalle. Discard the finished pasta in a colander.
Step 3
Pour vegetable oil into a preheated pan, throw a chopped clove of garlic. Arrange pasta and broccoli, stir gently and remove from heat.
Step 4
Make a cheese and milk sauce. To do this, heat the flour in a dry frying pan until it is pinkish. Then add butter and rub to avoid lumps. Pour milk into a frying pan, beat thoroughly until smooth. Heat the sauce until thick, but do not boil. As soon as the sauce begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and add finely grated cheese to the mixture. Season with salt and spices to taste. Keep on very low heat for another 3 minutes and stir constantly.
Place the broccoli pasta on warmed plates, top with the hot sauce and serve immediately.
