  • - milk (one glass);

  • - grated Parmesan cheese (one hundred and fifty grams (also pre-grated);
  • - salt (to taste);
  • - ground red pepper (to taste);
  • - dried minced garlic (to taste).

Step 1

First you need to cook pasta. Pour them into salted water and cook until cooked over low heat. If the pasta does not fit in the pan as a whole, then it is better not to break it, but to slowly lower it into hot water as it softens. Long pasta is usually much tastier. Of course, this is just perception and prejudice, but if you manage to keep the initial length of the pasta, then it is better to use it.

While the pasta is boiling, you need to prepare the cheese mixture. In the American version, the cheese mixture acts as a sauce with which the dish is mixed. Start cooking with butter. Place the butter in a saucepan and melt over low heat. While kindling, stir the mixture with a whisk or spoon. Watch the temperature carefully and avoid excessive overheating.

Pour flour into the melted butter and stir the mixture. Pour milk into a saucepan and stir well again so that there are no lumps. The lumps spoil the impression of the dish.
