Even on the festive table it is not a shame to put such puff roses with sausage. They look very appetizing and are prepared quickly and without much hassle.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of small-diameter semi-smoked or boiled sausage;
- - 500 g of purchased puff pastry;
- - vegetable oil for greasing the baking sheet;
- - parsley or lettuce.
Instructions
Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry into a half-centimeter thick rectangular slab. Cut into strips 3 cm wide and 15-17 cm long. Peel the sausage from the film and cut into thin semicircles.
Step 2
Place 3-4 pieces of sausage on each strip of dough so that the rounded edge protrudes beyond the edges of the dough, and an even cut of the sausage is approximately in the middle of the strip. Roll up with a roll, while pinching the bottom edge, and slightly bend the puff pastry from the side of the sausage in the form of petals.
Step 3
Stick wooden toothpicks in the shape of a cross into each rose from below. This will be the base that will not allow the roses to fall to one side. Place them on a greased baking sheet with vegetable oil. Preheat oven to 200C and bake puff roses for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the baked goods from the oven, remove the toothpicks, garnish with parsley or lettuce leaves. It can be served hot or as a cold snack.
