Autumn is the time for harvesting. But what to do when you get tired of pickling cucumbers, pickling tomatoes and canning peppers? Make pickled grapes for a great snack. It is especially delicious to put such a berry on a piece of baguette, spread with a delicate chicken liver pate.

In order to make spicy pickled grapes, you will need:

- 1 kilogram of seedless red grapes;

- 3 cups of red wine vinegar;

- 2 glasses of sugar;

- 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns;

- 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard seeds;

- 1 ½ teaspoon of sea salt;

- 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds;

- 1 teaspoon of red ground pepper;

- 15 carnation buds;

- 6 bay leaves;

- 4 sticks of cinnamon.

Wash and dry the grapes. Use a sharp fruit knife to cut the berries from the vine, trying to do this as close to the stem as possible. You do not need to pinch off the berries, as you can peel off too large a piece of the skin. Cut the grape into halves. And put them in clean, sterilized jars.

Place cinnamon, black and red peppers, mustard, sugar, salt, cloves, and bay leaves in a saucepan. Pour in the vinegar. Heat the marinade and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir to dissolve the sugar completely. Take a funnel and pour in the hot marinade you cans of grapes. When the spices have cooled slightly, place the cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, mustard seeds, and bay leaves in the jars. Cool the marinade to room temperature and cover the jars with sterile iron screw caps. Put the canned grapes in the refrigerator, it will be ready in two, but the longer the berries are in the marinade, the more aromatic and tasty they will be.

To make spicy pickled grapes that look like olives, use:

- 1 kilogram of seedless green or red grapes;

- 2 cups white wine vinegar;

- 2 tablespoons of coarse salt;

- 2 teaspoons of sugar;

- 3 cloves of peeled garlic;

- a sprig of rosemary;

- ½ teaspoon dried chili, crushed.

Rinse the grapes, dry and place in jars. Pour vinegar into a saucepan, add peeled garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and a sprig of rosemary, heat the marinade over medium heat, as soon as it starts to boil, remove from heat and pour the marinade into jars of grapes. Refrigerate, cover with iron screw lids and refrigerate. The grapes will be ready in 2 weeks. Try using it instead of olives in salad or smoothies.
