Pies with nectarines are simple and very tasty pastries that even inexperienced housewives can do. The dough can be any: yeast, puff, shortcrust, biscuit. Pies are baked in a conventional oven, slow cooker or microwave, if desired, the basic recipes can be modified to add individuality to them.
Homemade baking features: how to make the most delicious cake
To make the cake juicy and rich in taste, it is important to choose the right fruit for the filling. Ripe, but not overripe, nectarines that retain their shape well are suitable. Fruit with damage, mold or other defects is best discarded. It is not worth saving on the filling, the more of it, the tastier the pie turns out. If fresh nectarines are not available, canned or frozen ones can be used. Other fruits can be used as a filling: apricots, plums, peaches and even apples. An interesting taste in assorted pies with several types of fruits.
The great advantage of nectarines is their low calorie content. For weight-watchers, it is better to bake the pie on a light dough without adding butter and reducing the amount of sugar. The nutritional value of shortcrust pastries is much higher - a 100-gram piece of such a pie contains at least 300 kcal. Whipping cream, icing, chocolate icing, and even powdered sugar can add calories. But if you observe moderation, fruit pie will only benefit: nectarines are rich in ascorbic acid, potassium, magnesium, and other useful micro and macro elements.
