Spicy salmon with orange sauce is a delicious and colorful dish. Red fish is fried in a breading of sugar, salt and pepper, served with a spicy sauce of orange, ginger and chili.
Preparation of food
In order to cook spicy salmon with orange sauce, you will need:
- 600 g salmon steak;
- 100 g granulated sugar;
- 1 orange;
- 40 g fresh ginger;
- 1 chili peppers;
- 10 g ground chili;
- 10 g ground black pepper;
- salt.
Cooking a delicious dish
Mix the granulated sugar with salt, black pepper and chili powder. Rinse the salmon steaks under cold water, dry thoroughly, then dip them in a mixture of sugar, salt and pepper.
Brush a skillet with olive oil and heat it over medium heat. When the pan is hot enough, place the salmon on top of it and fry on both sides over medium heat.
Make orange sauce. Cut the zest from the orange, squeeze the juice. Grate the zest on a fine grater, also grate fresh ginger. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise and remove all the seeds, finely chop. Pour orange juice into a small scoop, add the same amount of cold water, add zest, ginger and chili. Bring ingredients to a boil, then simmer for 2-3 minutes. Strain the sauce before serving.
