Pork is a product that is present in the diet of almost every person. This type of meat is convenient because it is quickly cooked, and there are such a huge number of recipes with pork that you can surprise guests with something original and unusual in any situation, which does not require much time to cook.
Pork in puff pastry with mushroom sauce
- 1 sheet of puff pastry;
- 500 g of ground beef and pork;
- half a red pepper;
- 1 green pepper;
- a small head of onion;
- a few feathers of green onions;
- 2 eggs;
- 50 g olives;
- 2 cloves of garlic.
- 230 g of seasonal mushrooms;
- 150 ml of cream;
- 150 ml of meat broth;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- oil for frying;
- salt and pepper.
Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic, pepper and onion, fry for 5 minutes in a little oil, let cool. Mix with minced meat, add chopped olives, 1 egg, salt and pepper, mix well to get a homogeneous mass.
Lightly roll out the puff pastry on the working surface, visually divide it into 3 parts, put the minced meat in the center, cut the remaining parts of the dough diagonally into equal strips, as shown in the photo, gently form a roll, seal the edges. Grease a roll with a beaten egg and poison it in a preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes at 200C and another 15 minutes at 170C.
For the sauce, fry the pre-chopped mushrooms with a squeezed garlic clove in a little oil, pour in the broth and cream, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer over low heat for 8 minutes.
Serve hot roll with sauce.
Pork with raisins and vegetables in dough
- 300 g of lean pork;
- 1 onion;
- 1 red pepper;
- 2 boiled eggs;
- 50 g seedless raisins.
- 200 g flour;
- 15 g of fresh yeast;
- 50 ml of water and vegetable oil;
- 1 yolk;
- salt.
Pour cold water over the grapes so that they swell a little.
Prepare the dough: mix flour with yeast, 50 ml of water and 50 ml of oil, lightly salt, knead thoroughly to make the mass homogeneous, set aside.
Cut vegetables into small cubes, pork into small pieces. First, fry the vegetables for 5 minutes, add the pork, fry until golden brown, and lastly add the raisins to the pan.
Roll out the dough to make a square or rectangle. Put the cooled filling in the middle, chopped eggs on top of it, form a roll, seal it on all sides, grease with egg yolk.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for 25 minutes - the dough should acquire a beautiful golden color.
