We heat the oven to 180 degrees. We put a small saucepan (or a ladle) on the fire and heat 110 grams of butter in it. Add the grated lemon zest and juice to the melted butter, along with a teaspoon of chopped thyme.

Step 2

We remove all offal from the turkey and rinse it well. Remove fat and remaining feathers, dry. Season the carcass with plenty of salt and pepper. Transfer the turkey to a three-dimensional baking dish.

Step 3

Let's move on to stuffing the turkey. Put a washed bunch of thyme, a lemon (cut into four or two parts), quarters of an onion and a head of garlic cut in half inside the carcass. Outside, grease the turkey with soft butter, season with salt and pepper. We tie the legs with a thread, and remove the tips of the wings under the carcass.

We bake the turkey for 2, 5 hours, the meat juice under the carcass should become transparent. Put the finished turkey on a cutting board, and cover it with foil on top. Let the turkey stand for half an hour.
