If you want to cook a very unusual salad to surprise and delight your guests, then you should definitely pay attention to this recipe. Tongue salad turns out to be very light, mouth-watering and incredibly tasty. At the same time, the preparation of this dish will not take so much effort.
Ingredients:
- 1 tongue (beef is best);
- 2 medium carrots;
- 1 ripe tomato;
- 50 g of hard cheese;
- mayonnaise;
- 1 garlic clove;
- 2 lavrushkas;
- 100 g beans (white);
- 2 fresh cucumbers;
- 50 g of green onion feathers, dill;
- salt;
- sour cream;
- black peppercorns.
Preparation:
- The first thing you should do is prepare your language. It is thoroughly washed in cold running water and placed in a saucepan. Then lavrushka and peppercorns are placed in it, the required amount of clean water is poured and brought to a boil. Cook the tongue until it is fully cooked, it can take about 3 hours.
- The beans must be rinsed and poured into a saucepan. Pour in water and put it on fire. After the liquid boils, you need to slow down the heating. It takes a third of an hour to cook white beans (about 20 minutes).
- Carrots need to be peeled and washed well. Then it is sent to cook in brackish water for about 5-6 minutes. After that, it is crushed using a coarse grater.
- Cucumbers and tomatoes (necessarily ripe) must be thoroughly washed and the stalks removed from them. After that, the vegetables are cut into small pieces.
- Grind hard cheese with a coarse grater.
- The husk must be removed from the garlic clove and, after it has been washed, it must be cut into very small cubes. You can also use a garlic press for chopping.
- The finished beef tongue must be immersed in very cold water for 2 minutes. After that, it must be chopped by cutting it into small pieces with a sharp knife.
- All of the above crushed ingredients must be put into a sufficiently large container.
- Next, the salad should be seasoned with sauce. To prepare it, you need to mix mayonnaise (preferably homemade) and sour cream, which should be taken in a 1: 1 ratio.
- After mixing all the ingredients well, the salad should be sent to the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Then put it in a neat slide into a salad bowl, on top you can decorate with fresh sprigs of dill and parsley.
