  • - 450 g of strawberries;
  • - 350 ml heavy cream;
  • - 3 tablespoons of kirsch (brandy);
  • - 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar;
  • - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • For glaze:
  • - 300 ml fat cream;
  • - 250 g milk chocolate (40% cocoa);

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the dough. Stir the cocoa powder with hot water and wait until it cools. Place the softened and diced butter in a large container, add sugar, eggs, flour mixed with baking powder and dissolved cocoa. Beat the mixture with a mixer until a thick, homogeneous mass is obtained.

Step 2

Spoon the dough into a 20.5 cm round silicone mold and smooth the surface. Place the baking dish on a metal baking sheet and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour in an oven preheated to 170 ° C. Check the crust for readiness with a wooden stick. Allow the product to cool completely in the pan, then turn over onto the wire shelf.

Step 3

The basic cake can be baked in advance. It keeps well from 2-3 days in an airtight container or in the freezer for a month. Cut the cake into pieces, and also sandwich with strawberry cream should be on the day of serving, so that the berries do not get wet. Carefully cut the cake horizontally into thirds.
