  • - chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • - bread crumbs;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - sunflower oil for frying;
  • - parsley or dill;
  • - blender;
  • - a thick-walled pan.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse buckwheat under running water 2-3 times and pour into a small saucepan. Pour in so much water that it covers the cereal by 2 cm. Bring to a boil, adding 1 level teaspoon of salt. Then reduce the temperature to a minimum, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.

Step 2

Meanwhile, peel the onions and cut them into small cubes. It can also be chopped in a blender or grated. Break the egg into a separate bowl and beat with a fork or whisk.

Step 3

When the buckwheat is cooked, it becomes soft and absorbs all the liquid, transfer it to a large bowl. Add chopped onion, beaten egg, ground black pepper to taste, 1 tablespoon of bread crumbs and mix well.

After that, using a submersible blender, grind the buckwheat with onions and eggs into a homogeneous mass. Now, with wet hands, shape the patties of any size and shape (round or oval). If desired, they can also be rolled on both sides in bread crumbs. Place the resulting blanks on a cutting board or flat plate.

Heat the pan well and pour a little sunflower oil into it. When it's hot enough, place the buckwheat patties and fry them until they are lightly browned. Then turn them over to the other side and fry until the same blush appears.
