The taste and benefits of buckwheat are difficult to overestimate, because this cereal contains many trace elements and vitamins. But this recipe will turn a simple buckwheat porridge into an original and very tasty dish that can even decorate a festive dinner.
Ingredients for making buckwheat porridge with meat:
- 150-170 grams of buckwheat;
- 280-300 grams of any raw minced meat;
- medium white onion;
- medium raw carrots;
- 50 ml tomato paste or sauce;
- 60-70 ml of sunflower oil;
- salt, spices, herbs, bay leaves and garlic to taste.
Cooking the most delicious buckwheat
1. Fry a little finely chopped onion in oil, then pour the minced meat and grated carrots into the pan. Add tomato paste, salt, stir and fry everything until tender.
2. When the minced meat is almost ready, pour the washed and dried buckwheat into the pan.
3. Pour everything with warm boiled water so that the buckwheat hides a little, cover and simmer until the cereals are ready.
4. At the end of cooking, add chopped garlic, pepper and herbs and stir.
5. Ready buckwheat porridge should be mixed and allowed to stand for a while, so the cereal will be softer and tastier. When serving, you can add oil or herbs.
