Instructions
Step 1
Lemon Honey Salad Dressing
For Chinese-style dishes, a sweetish mixture of honey and lemon juice is suitable. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and whisk with honey and vinegar in a small bowl. Add salt. This dressing is ideal for salads with shrimp or chicken pieces.
Step 2
Dressing for green salads
The mix of lettuce leaves can be complemented with a classic olive oil dressing. Pour freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt and pepper into a bowl. Whisk the mixture with a fork and whisk in the olive oil in portions. You can add a spoonful of Dijon mustard to the resulting mixture. And if the mustard includes additional ingredients, for example, figs or red berries, the salad will acquire a new original taste.
Step 3
Exotic dressing
Grind the sesame seeds in a coffee grinder. Place the ground grains in a bowl, add lemon juice, soy sauce, runny honey, freshly ground black pepper, and minced garlic. Whisk the mixture with a fork until smooth. This dressing goes well with Japanese-style salads, as well as game dishes or chicken dishes.
Step 4
Yoghurt salad dressing
A dietary option suitable for most vegetable salads is yoghurt. For cooking, use natural yoghurt without additives or fresh yogurt. In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, grain mustard, vegetable oil, wine vinegar, salt and freshly ground black pepper with a fork. Chop the green onion finely and add it to the mixture. Stir the dressing again.
Step 5
Gas station "Nicoise"
For the classic French salad "Nicoise" they use a spicy dressing based on olive oil. It goes well with other vegetable dishes. Combine extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper and wine vinegar in a blender. Pour over salad or serve in a separate bowl.
