The feta cheese salad is delicious and light. It is not so difficult to prepare, but it looks very beautiful on the table. In addition, such a salad is very healthy, because it contains a lot of vitamins thanks to vegetables and a lot of micro- and macroelements that feta cheese is so rich in.
It is necessary
- -250 g feta cheese
- -3 tomatoes
- -1 bunch of lettuce
- -2 potatoes
- -a handful of pine nuts
- -several Art. l. olive oil
- -1 tsp wine vinegar
- -a few mint leaves
- -salt
- -pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the potatoes thoroughly. Pour water into a saucepan, put potatoes in it and boil it. Remove the potatoes from the pan, crush a little, and peel them. Cut the peeled vegetable into circles, and then divide them into halves.
Step 2
Remove the feta cheese from the packaging, cut into cubes and place in a bowl. Rinse tomatoes, cut into cubes or wedges.
Step 3
Combine vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper, stir and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Pour the resulting sauce into a bowl with potatoes, mix everything gently, so that all the cubes are covered with the sauce. Leave to soak for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Pour pine nuts into a preheated dry frying pan, fry them, stirring constantly. This should produce a characteristic nutty aroma.
Step 5
Rinse lettuce leaves, pat dry on a paper towel and tear or chop coarsely.
Step 6
Combine tomatoes, cheese, potatoes and lettuce leaves in a deep bowl, mix everything thoroughly, sprinkle with pine nuts and garnish with mint leaves. Serve the feta salad to the table.
