An excellent festive dish that has an unusual bright and rich taste. The combination of meat, orange sourness and sweet pepper make the dish very tasty.
Ingredients:
- Veal fillet - 500 g;
- Bell peppers of different colors - 2 pcs;
- Zest of 1 orange;
- Soy sauce;
- Green onion feathers - 1 bunch;
- Shabby ginger - 1 teaspoon;
- Orange - 2 pcs;
- Corn starch - 1 pinch;
- Orange juice - 125 g;
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons.
Preparation:
- To prepare this unusual dish, you need to prepare the meat. Wash the veal and remove excess veins. Cut the meat into thin strips a couple of centimeters long. Transfer the meat slices to a bowl and pour over the soy sauce. Then you need to thoroughly mix the veal with the sauce.
- Then you need to prepare the vegetables. Remove all seeds from washed peppers. Cut red and yellow peppers into 1/2-inch strips. Wash the green onion feathers and cut them into 5 cm long pieces.
- The next step is to heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet. Put chopped red and yellow peppers in it. Fry the peppers over moderate heat, stirring frequently. Cooking time for peppers is approximately 4 minutes. Then you need to transfer the toasted peppers to a plate. In the same skillet, without draining the oil, fry the chopped green onions for about 5-6 minutes. Place the onion over the peppers.
- Pour the remaining oil into a frying pan, put the chopped meat into it, which by this time will have time to soak in the soy sauce. Fry the meat for 8-10 minutes. It should be covered with a dark golden crust. Transfer the ruddy pieces of meat to the vegetables.
- Now you need to mix orange zest, ginger in a frying pan, add cornstarch, pour orange juice. Heat the resulting mixture in a pan for a couple of minutes. Put a mixture of vegetables and meat into the mass.
- Wash oranges and cut into thin slices. Place them in the pan with the rest of the ingredients and cook for two minutes, stirring frequently.
