This salad is a great start to a long day. Especially it will be appreciated by girls who follow the figure.
It is necessary
- For 2 servings:
- - 400 g of barley;
- - 1 red bell pepper;
- - 1 yellow bell pepper;
- - 120 g feta;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - arugula to taste;
- - 2 tbsp. olive oil;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the groats in salted water until tender, 10-15 minutes.
Step 2
Wash the peppers, peel the stalks and cores, rinse and cut into large pieces.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Quickly fry the peeled and crushed garlic on it. Add pepper, cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes. Remove the garlic from the pan (the pepper will have absorbed the garlic aroma by this point, and there is no need for extra spiciness in this dish).
Step 4
Combine barley porridge with vegetables and place on bowls. Sprinkle with arugula leaves and crumbled feta before serving.
