Chocolate cake is a unique recipe, suitable for a festive menu and for desserts for every day.
We will need:
- 200 g chocolate
- 8 eggs
- 250 g butter
- 150 g flour
Carefully separate the yolks from the whites. Combine 8 yolks and 250 g of sugar and beat until frothy. To do this, you need to use a bender or do it with a whisk. Beat the whites separately into a strong foam. The butter must be softened beforehand. To do this, remove it from the refrigerator a little before you start making the chocolate pie. Melt 200 g of chocolate in a water bath.
Combine softened chocolate and butter. Mix until smooth. Mix the prepared masses: yolks with sugar and chocolate with butter. Carefully add well-beaten whites to this mass, stirring gently. Then add 150 g flour. We knead the dough. The dough should be runny.
Grease the form with butter. It is better if the form is non-stick or silicone, a split form for baking cakes is perfect. Pour the dough into a mold. We very carefully move it to the hot oven. The oven must be preheated to 180 degrees. We bake the cake until tender. The baking time is approximately 40 minutes. Readiness should be checked with a toothpick.
Cut the finished pie while still hot into small portions. Top with fruit or creamy sweet sauce. Can be sprinkled generously with powdered sugar. When serving, garnish with berries or a mint leaf.
