Buckwheat porridge with chicken, raisins and prunes

For 4 servings you will need:

- chicken fillet (or breast meat) 500 g;

- 1 large onion;

- carrots 1pc;

- prunes, raisins, 100 g each;

- garlic 2-3 cloves;

- buckwheat groats (buckwheat) 300 g;

- salt, chicken spices to taste;

- some vegetable oil for frying.

Cut the meat into small pieces and fry until crisp.

Transfer the meat to a cauldron or thick-walled saucepan. Top with chopped onions and finely chopped garlic.

Chop the carrots into thin strips and add to meat and vegetables. Then season with salt and pepper to taste and simmer over low heat for another 10 to 12 minutes.

Rinse prunes and raisins thoroughly and add to a saucepan. Put clean buckwheat on top, salt a little more, add the necessary spices. Fill with water so that its level is two fingers higher than the cereal level, and leave to simmer over low heat until fully cooked, about 15-20 minutes.

All ingredients must be mixed well before serving.

Buckwheat with onions and mushrooms

For 3-4 servings you need:

- buckwheat groats (buckwheat) 300 g;

- onions 2 pcs;

- mushrooms (oyster mushrooms or champignons) 500 g;

- 2 tablespoons of thick fat sour cream;

- butter 100 g;

- spices to taste.

Rinse buckwheat and boil in water until tender in the usual way.

Cut the mushrooms into slices or slices, onions into medium half rings. Fry vegetables in butter until tender. In the process of cooking, salt the mushrooms, add sour cream and your favorite spices.

Mix ready-made vegetables with boiled buckwheat and simmer a little more, about 3-5 minutes. Ready-made buckwheat can be decorated with chopped herbs.
